Reminiscent of your favorite pair of jeans, this quilt pays homage to the classic square. Raw-edge appliquéd squares are layered atop the classic patchwork background, pieced of five-inch squares. Gorgeous texture is created by the long, fluid lines of heavy quilting running horizontally and vertically throughout the quilt, emphasizing the square motif. The cool palette of blue, white, dove grey, and charcoal is mirrored by the blue variegated quilting thread. Measuring 37 by 46 inches, this quilt is generously sized and perfect for tummy time, play time, and nap time.
Made with naturally-dyed, chemical-free organically-grown cottons, this exquisitely soft quilt is lovingly pieced, heavily quilted, and hand-bound. It is layered with certified-organic cotton batting and backed with the softest, un-dyed certified-organic cotton flannel.
All fabrics have been pre-washed and shrunk in unscented chlorine/phosphate free laundry soap and tumbled dry. Please note the fabric dyes are naturally derived and have not been fixed by conventional chemicals. As such, they are prone to fading with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and should be washed in cold water with mild laundry soap. Subtle variations in the fabric color and gentle fading may occur due to the nature of vegetable and mineral-based dyes. Detailed care instructions are included.
